Malcolm F Simpson

Actor, writer and director Malcolm Falshaw Simpson trained at the Guildford School of Acting just outside London where he received his diploma. He was awarded singer of the year in 1984 at G.S.A.

Malcolm has acted in several Shakespeare plays at the Guilford Playhouse and with Albion Shakespeare. His credentials include “A Midsummer Nights Dream,” “MacBeth,” “As You Like It” and “The Tempest.” Other productions Malcolm has appeared in are “Sweeney Todd,” “David Copperfield,” “Black Comedy” and “London Assurance.” He has acted in many musicals including “Trial By Jury,” “My Fair Lady,” “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Ebenezer Scrooge.” He wrote, directed and appeared in “Casablanca Airport” at the Greenwich Festival.

In addition, Malcolm’s screenplay credits include “Prisoner for a Brother,” “Hostages” and “The Past and the Present.” He had the lead role as the writer in short film “Realistically Speaking,” the lead role as “Bert” in the short film “The Old Curiosity Shop,” directed by Julia Barber. He has also appeared in many commercials. Recently Malcolm played the lead role in the audio play "The Gifted" due to be released shortly.

In 2010 Malcolm produced and directed Dot Com City Of Dreams in Ontario, Canada where it was well received.

During 2011 Malcolm produced and directed Dot Com City Of Dreams in Basingstoke UK.

This year Malcolm is making the show more widely available by licensing it to other producers including schools, colleges, and amateur groups with NODA.
